Our Offerings

Across all formats, we focus on 5 core areas:

  • Generational Patterns (Exodus 20:5)
    • Patterns of sin and dysfunction can be passed down through family lines, but through repentance and the power of Christ, those cycles can be broken.
  • The Wounded Heart (Psalm 147:3)
    • God cares deeply about our pain and promises to heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds.
  • Strongholds & Thought Patterns (Romans 12:2)
    • Transformation comes as we allow God to renew our minds and tear down lies and destructive thinking.
  • Identity in Christ (Ephesians 4:24)
    • Healing begins when we embrace our new identity in Christ, created to live in righteousness and holiness.
  • Deliverance from Spiritual Oppression (Ephesians 6:10–12)
    • Through the authority of Jesus, we can stand against the enemy and be set free from spiritual oppression.

Absolutely—and it’s a thoughtful and important question. Asking it shows a heart that longs to honor God and stay rooted in His Word. When inner healing is understood as the process of aligning our hearts with the transformative work of the Holy Spirit and the truth of Scripture, it becomes clear that this ministry is grounded in biblical truth. In this blog post, we’ll explore eight foundational aspects of inner healing and deliverance, each supported with Scripture to help you understand how this ministry reflects the heart of Jesus and the message of the gospel.

Reach Out

Inner healing is a Spirit-led process that brings restoration to the heart, mind, and spirit by inviting Jesus into places of past pain. It’s not about rehashing the past—it’s about encountering the healing presence of God in the places where wounds, lies, and patterns of bondage first took root.

Many of these wounds begin in childhood, when our hearts were tender and unprepared for the pain we faced. Without understanding, we often made inner vows, formed judgments, or believed lies—about ourselves, others, or even God. These become buried patterns that shape how we live and relate today.

But through prayer, forgiveness, repentance, and processing memories with the Holy Spirit, those wounds are healed. The lies lose their power. Bitterness dissolves. And freedom begins to flow.

Inner healing is not self-help—it’s Jesus meeting us in the hidden places, speaking truth, and restoring what was broken.

Inner healing brings freedom, restoration, and transformation at the heart level. As emotional wounds are healed and lies are replaced with God’s truth, individuals often experience a deep sense of peace, clarity, and renewed identity in Christ. Many find relief from anxiety, fear, shame, and unforgiveness, which opens the door to healthier relationships and a more intimate connection with God. As the heart is healed, the mind is renewed—leading to more life-giving thoughts, restored hope, and a greater ability to trust and love again. Inner healing also breaks generational cycles of dysfunction, empowering individuals to walk in freedom and create a new spiritual legacy for their families. In many cases, physical health also improves as stress and trauma are released. Ultimately, inner healing positions people to live more fully in their God-given purpose, and their testimony becomes a powerful tool to bring healing to others.

Inner healing is a Holy Spirit-led process that addresses the deep emotional and spiritual wounds we’ve accumulated through life experiences. It typically begins by inviting the Lord to reveal areas of hidden pain, trauma, or brokenness—often rooted in past experiences, relationships, or childhood events. With the guidance of a trained minister or prayer partner, individuals are led to identify specific lies they’ve believed, ungodly vows they’ve made, or areas where bitterness and unforgiveness may still reside. Through prayer, confession, forgiveness, and repentance, these strongholds are dismantled and replaced with God’s truth. The process also involves releasing suppressed emotions such as anger, grief, shame, or fear and allowing the Holy Spirit to bring comfort, healing, and restoration. Unlike surface-level solutions, inner healing gets to the root of what hinders spiritual growth and emotional well-being—leading to lasting freedom, renewed identity, and a deeper relationship with God. While each journey is unique, the goal is always the same: to experience the healing presence of Jesus in the wounded places of the heart and to walk in the fullness of life He offers.

Inner healing helps people find freedom from many forms of emotional and spiritual pain. It often addresses things like past trauma, unresolved grief, childhood wounds, emotional struggles, and relational patterns that feel stuck or unhealthy. People may also come seeking healing for negative self-perceptions, a deep sense of rejection or shame, or areas where they feel spiritually blocked or distant from God. Inner healing gently uncovers these wounds and brings them before Jesus so that He can restore peace, identity, and wholeness. It’s not about reliving pain—it’s about being healed from it.

Inner healing and deliverance are closely connected, but they are not the same thing. Inner healing focuses on the emotional and spiritual wounds we carry—healing the heart from painful experiences, false beliefs, and brokenness. Deliverance, on the other hand, deals with spiritual oppression and demonic influence, often breaking strongholds that gained access through trauma or sin. Many times, both are needed. Healing the heart helps close the doors the enemy uses, and deliverance ensures those doors stay closed. Together, they reflect the fullness of Jesus’ ministry—healing the brokenhearted and setting the captives free.

The simple truth is this: everyone needs inner healing because everyone has been wounded in some way. Life hurts all of us, and if we don’t deal with that pain properly, it gets stored in our hearts and begins to shape how we see ourselves, others, and even God. Sometimes we don’t realize how early these wounds began—often in childhood when we misunderstood a painful situation or made inner vows we didn’t know would shape our adult lives. These hidden wounds can affect our relationships, decisions, and our ability to trust God. Inner healing helps bring those buried wounds into the light so they can be healed—so we can walk in freedom, love well, and fully receive God’s love in return.

Before Either Zoom or In-Person Sessions:

You’ll receive a personal information packet to complete. This helps prepare your heart and gives space for the Holy Spirit to begin highlighting areas of pain, patterns, and healing. Everything you share is completely confidential. Our goal is to create a safe, grace-filled space for you to be fully honest, fully seen, and fully loved.

Yes, Jesus absolutely accomplished everything needed for our salvation at the Cross—but the process of becoming whole and healed is often a journey. Salvation is the starting point, and from there, we begin to walk out our transformation. Just like sanctification (the process of becoming more like Jesus), healing often happens over time as we submit areas of brokenness to God. The New Testament makes it clear that believers still struggle with things like bitterness, anger, fear, and unforgiveness—otherwise, the apostles wouldn’t have encouraged churches to “put off” those things. Inner healing helps believers live out what Jesus made possible at the Cross. It’s not about earning salvation—it’s about receiving the fullness of what was already paid for.

You might need inner healing if you notice that certain events or people from your past still stir up strong emotions today. If you find yourself overreacting to situations, feeling stuck in the same patterns, or experiencing repeating struggles in relationships or circumstances, these can be signs that there are unresolved wounds in your heart. Scripture tells us to examine the fruit in our lives—if we keep seeing unhealthy fruit, it’s a sign that the root needs attention. Inner healing offers a gentle, Spirit-led way to get to the root so that lasting freedom and healthy fruit can grow in its place.

Yes, inner healing is a ministry designed for believers—those who have surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ. This kind of healing requires a willingness to submit to His lordship and trust Him to guide the process. True heart-level transformation comes through the work of the Holy Spirit, so it’s important that a person desires to walk in relationship with God and allow Him access to the deep places of their heart.

Absolutely. We treat your story and your heart with the utmost respect and confidentiality. Everything shared during inner healing ministry is kept private, with only a few important exceptions: if there is any disclosure of current abuse, or an intent to harm yourself or others, we are required by law—and guided by love—to take the appropriate steps to ensure safety. Our goal is to provide a safe, trusted space where you can be honest and fully known without fear.

No issue is too big for God. No matter how complex, painful, or long-standing your struggle has been, the Lord is both able and willing to meet you there. Our team doesn’t claim to have all the answers, but we know the One who does. We come alongside you to invite Jesus into those hard places—because His love has no limits, and His healing reaches even the deepest wounds. There’s no mess too big for His mercy.

True biblical inner healing is not based in New Age ideas or mystical practices. It does not involve energy healing, crystals, manifestation rituals, or channeling universal power. This ministry is fully rooted in Scripture and led by the Holy Spirit—not by emotion or man-made methods. It’s also not a quick-fix or feel-good formula. Healing is often a process, not an instant cure. It’s more like gardening—tending the soil of the heart with patience and care. And most importantly, biblical healing never manipulates people or emotions. It creates a safe, Spirit-led space where Jesus can gently bring real restoration.

Ministry Testimonials

My husband and I went to inner healing together because of some trauma that we had endured. I was looking for healing for myself and for our marriage. I’m thankful for the gentle healing that we received. Never once did I feel judged or condemned or looked down on by Brandon and Michelle as we opened up our hearts and lives with them. They offered us a safe, unrushed environment that allowed us to linger with the Lord, dig deep, and be able to receive what the Holy Spirit had for us. At one time, One of the beautiful visions the Holy Spirit gave me I was hesitant to say aloud because I was unsure if it was simply my own imagination or if it was Him. As I expressed how I saw Jesus stepping into my body and seeing my hands as His, Michelle chuckled and offered the confirmation that she saw the Lord doing just that-too! My husband and I had the opportunity to talk about our deepest hurts with one another and truly seek wholehearted forgiveness from one another. It was freeing and beautiful. Brandon and Michelle encouraged Nate to ask the Lord for a prophetic word or picture about me. To hear those words of life coming from my husband‘s mouth from the heart of the father has such deep significance. It meant so much to me to be able to hear those precious words and pictures the Lord gave to my husband about me . And I also was able to look at my husband and see the fire of God and hear those words about him too. I absolutely recommend Restoring Light Ministries and know whoever goes through it will also find the joy and freedom that I have!
Couple Who Received Inner Healing
Going into Inner Healing, I was skeptical. My past experiences with therapy hadn’t always been biblically sound, and I had so many unanswered questions. My marriage had hit rock bottom, and I wasn’t sure what to expect. But this experience changed everything for me, especially spiritually. What stood out the most was how present Jesus was throughout the process. I was genuinely surprised at the undivided attention He gave me to work through past hurts. There was no rush, no pressure—just a deep, thorough journey of healing. Brandon and Michele were incredibly patient, making sure we took the time needed to truly hear from the Lord. It never felt like a “let’s get this done” session; instead, it was intentional, heartfelt, and transformative. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone with a heartbeat—whether you’re struggling or not. Inner Healing isn’t just for crisis moments; it’s for anyone seeking a deeper connection with God and emotional restoration. This experience was life-changing, and I’m beyond grateful for it.
ND
Our experience going through inner healing with Brandon and Michelle was vital to our relationship’s health. They were intentional in creating an open, as well as comfortable, environment each and every session. Each session was as long or as short as we wanted, which allowed the Holy Spirit to speak to our hearts in the manner he pleased and in ways that we needed. No topic was too big or small from their point of view, they valued our hearts like Christ does and were more than willing to dive into the “nitty gritty.” The lack of bias, favoritism, and judgment was vital to our freedom and restoration. They impartially cheered us on as we not only talked through sensitive subjects, but also gained ground in our hearts. All in all, they guided us to allow the holy spirit to reveal the work of the enemy, then they led us (through their immense experience and preparation) to the loving Father’s healing arms. We were grateful to be able to go through each session together; it cultivated intimacy and revitalized our relationship. We are now able to take things we learned and apply them to our marriage daily. After the sessions, they composed a file of notes from the sessions and “truths” for us to continually review in order to retain the freedom that we had found. We gained a better understanding of what it means to forgive, and are learning to live from that understanding. During ministry we became aware of weak spots in ourselves and broke off curses and vows. Because of that, we are now able to live more proactive in our walks. Lastly, we are more equipped to care for each other's hearts as we have been made whole by the power of Christ and are able to stand better as a team; knowing how to pray specifically for one another. We would like to end by saying: “Thank you Brandon and Michelle, your tender guidance and intentionality have helped us to use the Lord’s truths to set our marriage on a path to success!
