We’re Brandon and Michelle.

Husband and wife. Ministry partners. And two people who know firsthand what it’s like to carry something heavy that you just can’t seem to put down.

Since 2018, we’ve had the honor of sitting with people in their most tender, broken places — individuals, married couples, engaged couples — and watching Jesus do what only He can do. That never gets old.

We started Restoring Light Ministries because we believe healing isn’t just for some people. It’s for you. The one who has tried everything. The one who wonders if real freedom is even possible anymore. We’ve sat across from that person more times than we can count — and we want you to hear this clearly: there is hope. Jesus didn’t just come to save us. He came to set the captives free, to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to those who feel bound (Luke 4:18–19). That promise hasn’t expired.

In our sessions, we create a safe, Spirit-led space where you can bring your whole story — the painful parts, the confusing parts, the parts you’ve never said out loud. Together, we ask the Holy Spirit to uncover the root causes, break what needs to be broken, and speak truth into places that have only heard lies. We’ve seen generational cycles end. We’ve watched shame lose its grip. We’ve witnessed people walk out of a session standing a little taller than when they walked in.

Michelle is also the author of Holy Encounters and The Gathered Church — resources born out of years of ministry, study, and her own journey with the Lord. If you want to go deeper on your own or in community, those are great places to start.
